About Me

​I've never been good at small talk. Anyone who knows me knows all about my passions, insecurities, hopes, mental health issues, and shortcomings. I'm a real person - a real, messy person in her 30's who is still trying to get it together.

The one thing I've always known is that I am a writer. In my past lives I was a high school English and Spanish teacher and a graduate program coordinator, but even then, I knew I was a writer. I'm a writer who loves love in all its forms, but who writes about real love between real people.

Just like me, my characters are openly flawed humans doing their best to navigate love and life. If you read my book(s), it's my hope that you see aspects of yourself represented in my characters. I believe that everyone deserves love, flaws and all. ​
